Huge congratulations to the 1st year girls basketball team who were beaten by the smallest of margins in the All Ireland Final yesterday (Tuesday 26th April).
Having won their semi-final by a single point, they went on to be beaten by a single point after a classic battle with Kilkenny.
All-Ireland Runners up is still a fantastic achievement for this amazing group of girls and they have many more years of basketball ahead of them.
We look forward to cheering them on in competitions next year.
