Non-Uniform Day (Friday 22nd March)

March 19, 2024

Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),

As you may be aware, a group of six Transition Year students are currently fundraising in aid of Clíona’s Foundation.

Clíona’s Foundation is a national charity with their office in Limerick that provides financial assistance directly to parents of children with life-limiting or chronic complex care needs across Ireland, to help with the non-medical expenses related to caring for their child.

Our students will be participating in the Camino for Cliona’s 2024, in solidarity with the thousands of families in Ireland who are caring for a child with a life limiting illness.  Over 100 students from across 11 schools will take part in this fundraising journey to the Camino Santiago.

The School is assisting with the fundraising by holding a non-uniform day on Friday, 22nd March, 2024.

We are hoping for a minimum donation, via the app, of €2 from students, or whatever you can afford for this very worthy cause.

Kind regards,
MCS
