MCS Minions! We need Your Help to Set a New World Record!

October 17, 2025

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and All of our Students!

Did you ever want to break a World Record?

Well, Ms. Crehan and her Group of Amazing TYs are going to attempt to do just that!

Malahide Community School will have their first-ever record-breaking attempt next Wednesday, 22nd October.

The current record for the most Minions in one place at one time is currently 420.

We can beat that! With your help!

Next Wednesday, all we need the to do is dress in Blue jeans and a White or Yellow t-shirt!  (Please see the attached pdf for some ideas!)

If you have yellow face paint, please feel free to paint your face – if not, we will have a team of TY Minion-makers on site on Wednesday!

We will assemble all of our Minions on the green in front of the school for a photograph, during period 4, so that we can make our record-breaking attempt official!

So Yellow is the new Blue and next Wednesday we Need You!!!

All of this is in aid of Médecins Sans Frontieres to bring help to children suffering all around the world!

We would be very grateful to Parents/Guardians for your support with this initiative.

A message regarding how to make a donation towards this very worthy cause will be sent out on the App on Monday.

Thanking you for all of your help.

And looking forward to seeing all of our Minions on Wednesday!

Kind regards,

MCS.
