MCS Past Pupil Competing in Miss Dublin

Dear Parent/Guardian,

One of our past pupils, Nicole Halpin, is competing in this year’s Miss Dublin Competition and is looking for our support.
Nicole is a student from the graduating class of 2020 and has a fantastic future ahead of her.
We in MCS wish Nicole every success!

Please see attached a message from Nicole.
Kind regard
Caroline Tighe

Hello, my name is Nicole Halpin and I’m a former student of Malahide Community School. I’m delighted to say that this year I’m in the running for Miss Dublin and the people’s vote is now live. I would love to have the support of my secondary school students and teachers to help me secure a place in the final! Its free to vote and all it takes is the free Miss Ireland App: https://apps.apple.com/ng/app/miss-ireland/id1538581380

I’ve been delighted to get involved with MissIreland’s ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ motto, both with them and independently. Independently, I’ve raised funds for Temple Street, my primary hospital as a Children’s student nurse by holding a personalised baubles fundraiser at Christmas time. With Miss Ireland I’ve created shoe boxes for the homeless and raised funds for Variety, a charity that helps children with disabilities in Ireland. I can’t wait to be more involved in future and not only by means of fundraising but also by advocating for young girls and boys. I want to emphasise that the best things in life are on the other side of fear, stop letting what other people might think get in the way of you becoming the best version of yourself.

I hope everyone is staying safe and thank you for your support, Nicole Halpin❤️
