NB LC Results / Fri. 23rd August / 10.00

August 20, 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

We hope you are all keeping well at this time.

We want to wish our 6th Years the very Best of Luck with their upcoming Leaving Certificate Results this Friday, 23rd August!

As a staff, we understand fully how hard our students have worked, and how stressful this time of year can be for them, and for you, their Parents and Guardians.

Please know that we are incredibly proud of every student.  They are a credit to themselves and to you!

To Our Students, remember – Friday will come and go.  You are Priceless.  You are Enough.  Life is worth so much more than any one piece of paper.  You have some fabulous journeys ahead of you.  Enjoy them!  And help each other.  That’s what counts the most.

Re: Friday 23rd August, 10.00am:

Students will be able to access their results from 10.00am on that date.

Unfortunately, schools no longer receive a Provisional LC Certificate on the day, but students are still welcome to link in with our Guidance Team on the day.  They will be available to students should any student wish to call in person, or to ring, or to email them at: guidance@malahidecs.ie

Re: State Examinations Commission:

The State Examinations Commission advises that ALL students log into the Candidate Self Service Portal BEFORE the results issue on Friday 23rd, to ensure they can access the portal.

A Student Candidate Information Guide will issue from the SEC tomorrow, Wednesday 21st August, and we will make that available to you then.

In the meantime, please feel free to click on the following link for further information on how to access LC Results on Friday.

Please note the Steps required to access results, view scripts, appeal a result, etc.

Re: CAO Offers / Guidance Dept.

For students who have submitted a CAO application, these offers will be available on Wednesday 28th August, at 14.00.

Our Guidance Dept. will again be available to talk to students the following day, on Thursday 29th August.

Finally, we would to again wish every student well on Friday.  And we thank you for all of your support over the years.

Kindest regards,

MCS.
