It is with deep regret and sadness that we must inform you of a great loss to our school community.
Our dear School Secretary, Tara McCarthy, passed away yesterday, after a short illness. May she Rest in Peace.
We would like to express our most sincere condolences to Tara’s Family, and to her extended Family, at this time.
Tara was a friend to everyone in Malahide Community School and beyond.
This loss is sure to raise many emotions and upset amongst our students and the wider school community.
We would like to invite our students to visit the school tomorrow, Tuesday 12th April, from 11.00 to 13.30, to meet with our Support Staff and with each other.
A students’ Book of Condolence in memory of Tara will be available in the Boardroom for any students who would like to sign it.
Refreshments will be available in Room G03, also.
Further details regarding Tara’s funeral arrangements, will follow in due course.
We will never forget Tara, our Beloved Friend and Colleague.
