Dear Parent/Guardian,
We want to share the final update on our recent fundraising efforts to support Ukraine in the current crisis.
In addition to the collection of items to be donated for use in Ukraine which was organised and supported so generously by the community earlier this month, a Non-Uniform day and a Sponsored ‘Walk for Ukraine’ were organised in school.
Huge thanks to the students and families for contributing so generously to these events.
Thanks in particular to Mr. Kevin Manning, Ms. Cora Tighe and several other staff members who worked so hard to bring the events together including hosting a speaker from Ukraine who gave our students a sense of the crisis from her first-hand experience.
Thanks to our Student Council who co-ordinated events with Mr. Manning and to the entire Malahide School Community for participating and donating.
The total raised is:……… €16,032
This incredible sum will go directly to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
