Following our very successful Christmas Market which was held in December and from the extremely generous donations from our amazing school community, a cheque giving ceremony was held recently to hand over the money collected to Focus Ireland.
Peter from Focus Ireland was delighted with the donation and said it was the highest single donation from a school they had ever had. €5560
Well done to McMcGuire and her TY language class who worked so hard to put the whole event together, from the ‘helping hands’ tree to the TY enterprise stands at the market and all the delicious toasties they made!!
Huge thanks also to Supervalu, Malahide and Brennan’s bread. Without their very generous donations of bread, ham and cheese there would have been no toasties!!
